Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor director producer, and vocalist. Beautiful, intelligent and gifted actress, she's a great inspiration to Asian actors aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. After several appearances in popular TV series her name was a household name for her role in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Shii. In addition, she played lead roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which didn't have any impact. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime-drama - established her as a leading actress.
