Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress became popular in the 70s and 80s for the roles she played as an actress on television shows. Her beautiful appearance was often the focus of these series. Fairchild started her career on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress was able to do so. In 1980 she took the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), where she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for the best Actress in a Television Series Drama. She appeared on ABC's brief primetime soap Paper Dolls and also for Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also an actor in the theater, and has appeared in guest roles in a variety of television shows, including Murphy Brown (for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in an Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill as well as Friends.
