Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mother was a film enthusiast and encouraged her to love movies as a young person. Paula took part in the co-curricular activities at school, and was a drama enthusiast. Her classmates and she played together and was a part of the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school productions. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was part of at the University of Southern Calif's Summer program and enjoyed the experience to death. She was given a three month task to produce documentaries for PBS. She began her career as a production assistant for TV after completing this assignment. After that, she began producing documentaries. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Her career began in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star for the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in numerous film and television shows.
